UB Bad Beat Jackpot

We’ve all been the victim of a bad beat. If it happens while playing at one of UB’s Bad Beat Jackpot tables then we’d actually be happy!

UB’s bad beat jackpot tables give you the chance to walk away a winner when you lose. If you’re seated at one of the bad beat tables and holding four Eights or better you’ll win a huge share of a Bad Beat Jackpot. The bad beat jackpot gets larger with every hand that’s dealt at a bad beat table. UB collects $0.50 from the pot of each raked hand that is raked $0.25 or more. The $0.50 is then added to the Bad Beat Jackpot.

Then if you are holding four eights or better at a bad beat jackpot table and lose to a better hand you’ll win 50% of the Bad Beat Jackpot. Plus many other players at the bad beat tables will win cash. The actual winner of the hand will get 25% of the bad beat jackpot and all of the others at the table will get $1000.

Here’s how UB splits up the entire Bad Beat Jackpot:

25% of the bad beat jackpot will roll over to the next Bad Beat Jackpot
10% of the bad beat jackpot goes to the house
50% of the bad beat jackpot goes to the Bad Beat victim
25% of the bad beat jackpot goes to the winner of the hand
$1000 goes to every other player at the Bad Beat table

The rest is divided among everyone playing the same game type and stakes when the Bad Beat takes place, as long as they meet the requirements of qualification.

  • Players sitting out at the Bad Beat Jackpot table are not eligible for the jackpot.
  • The hand must go to a showdown in order to qualify for the Bad Beat Jackpot.

In order to qualify as the Winner of the Bad Beat Jackpot, you must satisfy the following conditions:

  • You must be playing at a Jackpot or Turbo Jackpot table and a rake must be collected in the hand you are playing in. There also needs to have been at least four players dealt into the hand.
  • You must use both of your hole cards and lose the hand with four eights or better.

In order to win the $1000 bonus you must be seated at the bad beat jackpot table where the bad beat happens and be seated in the game. If you are sitting the hand out you will not receive the bonus.

To receive the remainder of the Bad Beat Jackpot that is divided among all eligible players you have to be playing at a bad beat table that is the same game type and with the same stakes as the table where the jackpot was hit. You also need to play in at least one hand in your session at the table and have contributed to the rake that was taken for the jackpot.

In order to qualify for the Bad Beat Jackpot, four or more players must be dealt in the hand and a rake must be collected.
